Could you be a Scientific Genus>
Take the Challenge and find out!
For many the world of science is a confusing territory. With its mix of complex formula and bespoke terminology, its can take years of dedicated training to fully grasp. Whilst we are accustomed to this notion, is it actually the truth, or is it just the way the the ideas and information have been expressed?
Complexity does not have to be Complicated
Take the Challenge and find out!
Through our experience of accelerated learning techniques we understand it is not the subject itself, but how the subject is taught. Accelerated learning teaches us that the way by which information is imparted is key to a persons ability to understand and remember. Our minds work best through a process of pattern recognition, rather than rules and regulation. You are more likely to remember a story or an image that a mathematical equation

You don’t need to be a genius to understand geometry
But understanding geometry will make you a genius
To prove that what we suggest is actually true, we have designed a small learning challenge that is FREE for anyone to take. In just 10 minutes you will see just how easy it is to remember the exact value for 4 major constants that is enough for anyone to work out all of the 40+ constant that have been defined by Dimensionless Science. Sound too good to be true? Well if you have 10 minutes to spare, then why not give it a go.
In2infinity Learning programs employ artist and fun drawing and games to help us learn more easily.
In this challenge you will be creating a set of learning cards.
So before you begin you will need to have:
* a set of coloured post-it notes or similar
* something to draw with, like a pack of felt tip pens
if you have gathered your learning tools,
you are ready to begin…
STEP 1: ASSESSMENT
Ask yourself the question:
How many Scientific Constants do I know off by heart?
On a piece of paper write down the number of scientific constants the you know the value of.
If you don’t know any that’s fine as you soon will.
Use the BLUE DOTS to navigate the challenge.
STEP 2: OVERVIEW
We are going to learn the exact values for 4 key scientific constants:
On 4 post-it notes draw the symbols for each constant, sun, magnet, and 2 lightening bolts.
Add the Zero (0) to the magnetic and electrical resistance cards.
Finally and the scientific symbol for each one and write the name down next to it.
You should now have 4 cards, one for each constant that looks like this…
STEP 3: Understanding the constants
We can understand these constants more easily if we use a metaphor that we can relate to
Can you remember what is like to swim underwater?
Space and Time
To MOVE a DISTANCE (c) You use ENERGY (e)
The water RESISTS your MOVEMENT (u0) Over TIME you lose ENERGY (e0)
With this image in mind, let us consider our 4 constants.
Step 4 : Learn the Values
Next we are now going to learn the values for each constants. Try to guess the value for each one before clicking the image to reveal the answer.
Begin with the Speed of Light and work through each one in order.
TIP: Try to see the pattern…
ALL GOOD, SO FAR?
Great! We are half way there, we just need to add a few geometric touches. But before we do just take a moment to write these numbers on the back of your cards.
On a piece of paper write down the symbol for each constant.
Add the name to each one
